At the very least, I'd be happy if I could find a good mocap editor that could import/export BVH files on an M4/V4-compatible skeleton to be used in Poser. I would still like to use my Optitrack rig on one end, and render in Cinema 4D on the other, but would be happy to replace the steps in between if there was a better solution. This method works pretty well, I think, but it's aging and I need to update. Presently, I export BVH files from Optitrack Motive, and import those onto Daz M4/V4 characters in Poser (since the animation tools in DS stink, as does their BVH import), edit/compose the animations in Poser (including hand motions & expressions), create lip sync in Mimic Pro (some of you may not have been born when that came out), use Interposer Pro to bring the animations into Cinema 4D. iClone seems to have come a long way in a few years, but I'm a little confused about what I might be able to use from Reallusion and if it would be better than what I am using now, so I'm holding off on a purchase until I have better idea of what I would need. I have my own pipeline for animation that works fairly well, but I'd really like a better way to clean up my mocap. I am traditionally a Daz/Poser/Cinema 4D user and have an Optitrack mocap rig.
